How to get from Malaga Airport to La Maestranza, Nueva Andalucia.
By Bus From Malaga Airport to Nueva Andalucia
There is a bus that goes from Malaga Airport to Marbella Bus Station. In Winter every 2 hours, in Summer every hour. Costs about 4.10€ pp. From the bus station you then need to take a taxi for 10 minutes to La Maestranza cost around 15€uros.

By Train from Malaga Airport to Nueva Andalucia
The train from Malaga Airport on goes as far as Fuengirola. This is not a good option.
By Taxi from Malaga Airport to Nueva Andaluciai
Outside arrivals in Malaga there is a taxi rank. You can get a taxi and it will cost minimum 80€uros. If you are going to get a taxi, we personally would recommend a private transfer instead where prices are set beforehand.

Car Hire from Malaga Airport to Nueva Andalucia
Personally, if you are able to drive, we always recommend Hiring a Car from Malaga Airport. Simply becasue sometimes its cheaper that 2 taxis each way. Also it gives you the freedom to run around if you so wish. You can read more here & get a cheap quote.
Directions to La Maestranza, Nueva Andalucia, Puerto Banus, Marbella.
Leave the airport and at the first roundabout take the 2nd exit, this passes the San Miguel Brewery on the right hand side, stay in the right lane, the road drops and is signed N340 Torremolinos, Cadiz. Continue on this road for 2.5k, stay in right hand lane and take the exit signed E15, A7, N340 Benalmadena Algeciras.Stay on this road for 14k. After 14k the road splits to a toll road (A7). Stay on the left to continue on the toll road and watch for Peage signs on the road surface and a flashing sign A7.
When you have gone through the toll (approx €5) continue for about 20 minutes until you will see Mc Donalds on the left hand side and a huge shopping complex La Canada on the right hand side. Continue for 5k, stay in the right hand lane as the road will split, the left fork is the toll road to Cadiz. The right fork drops into a tunnel, both roads are signed Estapona, Algeciras. Take the road through the tunnel. In 3k the first exit appears 175, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Istan.
Continue past this exit and stay in the right hand lane. You will see a shell garage on the right hand side and El Corte Ingles shopping centre on your left. Take the next exit 174 signed Nueva Andalucia , Puerto Banus.
The road will fork as you go around the corner, stay to the left (don’t worry you are not on the wrong side of the road, both roads go one way) up to the roundabout. At this roundabout take the third exit (straight on & up) the Bullring is on your right. Next roundabout take the first exit (straight on) Centro Plaza is on your right. As you approach the next roundabout you will see the Pasta Café in front of you.
At this roundabout take the second exit down the hill, (Calle Califa) you will see a big white community with a brown gate on your left. Along here is a side gate with an intercom. Park up and call us when you are here. Walk straight in towards the door, turn right then immediately left, (round the corner).
The car park was at the beginning of the Community with a slope going down. On the keys we give you will be a plastic keys which must be put into the Automatic opener at the top of the slope.
